I finally got one!

Hello everyone, my name is PJ and I have been riding motorcycles for almost 30yrs. I have had alot of bikes but ever since high school I have lusted after a BLACK duck bill KZ! I had a friend years ago that had a KZ650 and at the time that was otherworldly and 3 times the cc's I and most my friends were riding! Many years later, meaning just a few days ago, I FOUND IT! I called on countless craigslist adds and looked at alot of junk but it all payed off. I found a 1978 KZ1000A2A in Ebony Black, fairly unmolested with most of the factory equipment. The pipes are off another year or something but there rusted out anyway. It hasn't run in a couple years but it spins over and seems to have compression, the tank is full of crap.. I'm sure the carbs too. I have brought a couple Hondas back from the edge of the crusher so I'm not totally a newb. It had a Vetter headlight, probably had a windjammer at some time. It also had a very interesting rack with a backrest? Didn't look too bad but it's not included in the "dream". Thanks everyone ahead of time for I'm sure what will turn into alot of stupid questions and here she is...

Yes, nice. Pretty much stock. I have one in Western NY State. It's hopped up and gloss black too.
No one here locally has any money to buy it. I want $2500. Put a plate on it and drive it to the local drag strip and run 7.10 ET's.
