Hi all,
Well, after 31 years of riding I have finally taken the plunge and added a KZ to my garage
A 1977 KZ1000 LTD to be exact. It came with a Vetter fairing and skirts and...after thinking about it....they're staying ON for a while. It runs great and, as you all know, it's guaranteed to startle a few people! And, the Vetter makes it an AWESOME sleeper...ha ha ha!
Hope to learn a lot from this group and, to meet a few people along the way.

Where abouts in So Cal are you?
A bunch of us here in So Cal get together several times a year for a KZR group ride, so keep checkin back for the next ride.

Well, got the bike delivered today! I actually bought it in Iowa 10 days ago while I was there. A great guy named Matt from "uShip' website gave me a good price to get it out here to VC. He showed up at 1400, I went over it, checked the fluids, tires, etc and rode to AAA to register it. They took care of everything (despite the Eng # used as the VIN number on the old title and the "emmisions" sticker missing!) Mounted the plate and hit the road...126-23-101-home...about 40 mi in all. No problems That Bassani pipe rocks! Although.....it has no baffle and is VERY loud!!! Can you say ticket??
Others: cam chain needs adjusting, k&n's need cleaning, need to change the oil and, new tires being ordered tonight!
Hope to meet up with you guys in socal sometime.
