new member with a KZ650 project

Hi all. Ive been working on a KZ650 project for a few months noe. It was a parts bike that i bought. I took a while to get title.DMV trips and to the CA highway patrol but noe im the titled owner. I picked up a Aluminum swing arm with tire from a GXSR 750. I cut it down and macined the lugs and lower shock mounts. I also fabricated the upper shock. I plan on updating the front end also when im done with the rear. Im just a hobbist who has a mini lathe, mill and Lincoln welder. I bought my first bike in 1978. A KZ650. then in 1979 I bought a Kawasaki Z1R Turbo. the one that was painted by Molly Graphics. these days im working on the 650. I plan on picing the brains of all you guys and sharing anything that I can. be chatting with ya.
