77 KZ400 - checking in from Jersey

Hi all,

Thought I'd sign up for the site, and show some progress on my KZ400 build. Actually, it's not my bike... I'm building it for my Uncle, who bought it in 77 and parked in in 86. I'm kinda partial to British bikes for my personal projects, but I really like this KZ. It's gone together fairly easy so far, and looks like it'll be a lot of fun when it's back in action.

Looks like there's some good info here. I'm nearing the end of the project and I've got a punch-list of small things to address. Hopefully I can add a little something to the forum in return for answers to some stupid questions!

I'm new here myself but I'll welcome you anyway... also, was curious what brand/model tires on on that 400??

Thanks. Tires are Shinko 705's. They feel pretty good so far.
