New guy in Minnesota
26 May 2011 17:40
Hello all! My Brother in law just dropped off a 1980 KZ 1000 Classic that is in a few pieces and wants me to help him get it on the road. He is a little less knowledgeable than I am, and sometimes I wonder about myself
It should be a fun project and hope that you all don't get TO mad at us for asking to many questions!
Thanks for the welcome and any help I can give I will for sure!
Later,
Kenny

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationStep one...buy the genuine Kawasaki shop manual.
Step two...buy the genuine Kawasaki shop manual supplement
Both are available on eBay. You don't necessarily have to purchase those I showed you...they are merely for example. Welcome to KZR

Clymers and Haynes are good, but the best are the original Kawasaki manuals. Your choice. Personally, I don't own any Clymer or Haynes manuals, but I have most of the genuine Kawasaki manuals. They are an order of magnitude better.

Thanks Guys! I am a tight-wad by nature so I go for cheap! But I will keep my eyes peeled for one of the Kawi manuals!!
Mcdroid do you the manial for the classic? Are there specs in it for testing the parts of the EFI?
Thanks again!

Kenny
