another new member... project freak.

Hey guys... about to pickup a KZ1000 for a project bike... most of my projects have been cars... I had a ZX6 Ninja I bought new in '94 and later sold it... I've got the itch again, this time it will be a build. Can't wait to start the KZ build.

This is the latest build I am almost done with.

Picked the bikes up over the weekend...

One runs... the other has an apparent electrical issue.

One is an '80 model, stock engine. The other is '77 with an 1105 build... haven't verified yet.

is that a datsun 510 wagon?

Yep. '71 510.

Got the non-running bike running today and went down the street. It hiccups a little but its been sitting a while. Fixed the master cylinder and freshened up the handle electrics and powdercoated them.

Just got my first bike, 83 kz 440 about 2 months ago. Wish I could have gone with more displacement but is good for beginners. Never done road stuff, always dirt

nice kaws... should come together to make a nasty ride... and love the 510... my first car was a 69 510 that I had back in, nevermind that, let's say if anyone tried driving a car around town nowadays at the age I was back then, well, wouldn't be a good thing... lol... anyway, learned to drive stick in it so it has a special place in my heart... nice rides and thanks for the trip down memory lane
