new around here!
16 May 2011 21:55
hey everybody, my name is aaron and i just decided to buy my sisters 1981 KZ440 LTD. its in MINT shape, and it gets 60mpg whereas my yamaha xj750 only gets 50mpg. also, i never liked the yamaha and it is NOT mint.
im a professional mechanic/fabricator for work, and for play i race a suzuki LTZ "400" in the new england ATV MX series. also, i drive a ford ranger with a full race built 460 and paddle tires at the Monson hill climbs. i am currently building another hill climber out of a baja truck i drove for a few years until the series went under and there are no more races in our area.
aside from off road racing, i also am a ford truck, tractor, and car enthusiast. my disease has spread and my wife now has a mustang that has "some work" done to it.
i enjoy bikes, ideally i would like to have a DRZ400 setup for the street, but the real reason for me owning a bike is purely driven by the dollar. i need a large diesel truck to haul race vehicles, construction equipment, or horses. for the days i dont need the truck....16mpg diesel is a wallet draining experience, and thats not counting the cost of repairs on a modern diesel. 60mpg gas and a total vehicle investment of $800 is a great alternative. unless its raining...or snowing
i look forward to helping and being helped in this forum!

there is a replacement for displacement, i call it volumetric efficiency.
