New to motorcycles and will be buying a 1986 ZL600

I found this motorcycle on CL for $750 (in good shape, a little paint faded) runs fine shifts fine and has 20K on the clock. I had a few questions, first and foremost are these reliable bikes? I need something I can count on when I start it. Second is this a good deal? I figure any inspected running and driving bike is good at this price. Finally will it fit me, I am 6'0" tall and 240lbs, I heard these are not the most comfortable bikes for a guy my size I have not sat on it yet, I will se it for the first time Saturday (it is near the beach in VA I am in Richmond). I want to know others opinions that have this bike.

I've not been here long either, but welcome watindes. My son just bought a 87 ZL600 for $800 w/13k on the clock. He's 6'2" and was a little cramped till I made him some highway pegs for it. He's lovin it now. Someone on here told me sometimes there's issues with the cams. He said to make sure it wasn't making strange noises while idling, before he bought it. Oh yea, I'm 6,4" and thought it was pretty quick and cool looking, but it wasn't my KZ1000. Hope this helps.
