i have seen replies that were not the real story...not saying that is so here...

There are a lot of guys around here that collect z1900 and kz and I just told you if it was any good it wouldnt have lasted 1 day even with bad ecomony id buy it in a heart beat if it was worth it

they told me the top end of the motor was reworked due to a broken timing chain??
bike was on CL for 4900 for a long time - have to agree thats probably not coincidence
