KZ550 Newb here

Whats up guys my name is Luke, just bought my first bike. 1981 KZ550 Ltd. Bike was a little rough when I picked it up but it did have a title and I only paid 150 dollars! And it came with two brand new Dunlops, worth more then what I paid for the bike lol!
My main concern was the wiring... the PO had hacked everything up and I had to make my own harness just to start it. After that issue was taken care up I started stripping it down, rattle can yellow doesnt do it for me. I also chopped the back end off and Im going for a rat chopper look. This is as far as Ive made it in about 2 weeks of just side work. So heres a pic of the progress.
