New KZ rider from NJ

Hello,all. My name is Oskar. Just picked up a almost cherry 82 KZ1000J with 4500 miles on it. The bike hasn't been ridden since 1984. I am in the process of making it road worthy. Can't wait. I have wanted this bike since I can't remember. Have a bunch of questions, but that is for elsewhere on this site.

I have it on the lift somewhat in pieces, but as soon as I put it back together I'll take a picture of the cherry side. The other side the tank is dented :S

I won't complain if you post pictures with dents either. Heck, I posted hundreds of pictures of my bike with ugly body work before I got it painted. We like to see the transformation. BTW edit your signature to include your location and bike information (Year and Model), that way when you ask questions, everyone will know what bike you are asking about.

It took a little while, but here she is. Due to a nasty dent in the gas tank, had to restore the tank. Decided to change it a bit for now.
