Hi, Im new here mostly. Ive been a memeber for awhile but hadn't posted anything or read much because I was off on another bike project that was consuming me. I'm up for air and still lovin my KZ's. I have a 1980 KZ 750 LTD bone stock, 22,000 miles. I also have a 1979 KZ1000A, that I bought from a friend for $1000.00. I tore it down to the bare frame, sold the 1980 MKII motor that had been put in her, started ordering parts for a rolling chassis restoration and about the time I was mocking up the chassis before powder coat I realized that the rear brake lever mount had been cut off of the frame. Luckily I was able to get the frame section from another bike and I will be revisiting the KZ1000 in the fall.
I have a Honda CB 650 too, that bike is currently on the jack stand under going what I was originally calling a "mechanical refurb". Ive been very lucky to have picke up enough work that I can pretty mauch say that the CB will be getting the full treatment once I get off the road in July. Id like to have that bike up and running before fall...

Some one told me I should buy a bunch of horses once. I bought a bunch of bikes instead.

My KZ1000A. This pic was taken the day I picked her up, note the kitty litter on the fllor from a leaky petcock. She's a pile of parts now, a fairly well organized pile...
