Good morning all!

My name is Ed and I am a new member located in Lenoir, NC about 90 NE of Charlotte. I just picked up a non runner 1980 KZ1000 Shaft, fully dressed and totally original including paint with 11k miles. I am now to the point that I am ready to mount the rebuilt carbs and see if I can get this brut to fire off. Keep your fingers crossed and you will hear from me soon either way as I plan to take some pics along the way of restoring/reviving this sweetie and will share with the group.

Among others I have had a 79 KZ1300 naked bike and an 83 KZ1100 shaft, also naked. Loved them both and looking forward to getting this one on the road. Thanks again for the nice welcome. Ed
