Just aquired a '81 KZ750 LTD in need of a lot of attention. My first bike since 1976 when I bought a brand new KZ900 for about $2,400 IIRC.....

Here it is:



My wife says "What, your 25 year old BMW isn't challenging or expensive enough to keep running?"

Sounds like similar situation. My 23 years old BMW has been sitting for 3 years now waiting for gas tank replacement:laugh:

The wife has had 34 yrs to get used to this. I broke her in by buying a KZ900 2 days before our wedding (surprise!!). I've had over 60 vehicles since then. The bike will be a far bigger "issue".....

Just bypassed the starter solenoid and sprayed fluid into the carbs and she fired up!!

congarts, dude the motor looks pretty clean in the photo, that seat is toasty but better that than the engine
