Hi to you all I've got a Z750 L1 (1981), I might have a few questions and possibly a few answers during my time here. I appreciate any help, advice or information you can give me. The photo was taken whilst I was camping in the New Forest Hampshire England. Thanks, Steve :)

Welcome

Interesting animal you have there. Is that the stock paint scheme? I have never seen this one before on a 750 of that year, understood your in the UK. Other interesting item is the left side exit 4 to 1. Don't see that often either.

Would like to see a pick of the left side, very well preserved (although used) for its age.

Cheers

Hi, the exhaust and the seat are not stock but the paintwork is original, and as I understand the color is Luminous Gun Blue. It needs a good clean up really, I've recently bought some new parts for to get it through it's next test, cheers Steve.

Thanks, look forward to seeing your tune up. :) Have fun.

If you get a chance could you measure your fork tube diameter? Also tube offset from the stem. Close enough on the offset, were off by 1 or 2 mm I'm sure they are probably the same.

Want to see if this top clamp can cross over to mine. I think it can by the PN but always nice to have some live confirmation.

Nice to see some of these come out of the woodwork. 750s are like early station wagons. Ridden hard and put away wet one too many times to survive.

Cheers.

I'm actually in the middle of renewing my forks and they are not on the bike at the moment but the fork tube diameter appears to be 36mm, I hope this helps for now.
