Hello
I long time kaw rider and getting back to one of my favorites. 82 Kz 1000, use to ride a 78 kz1000 back in the early 90's moved to a 91zx-11 was forced to sell it for working capital when i started my business back in 2000. went through a few years without a bike:angry: but the itch wouldnt go away bought a zx-12 which i still have and now feeling nostalgic, 3 kids later bought the kz and want to put the best of today's technology into one of my favorite bikes. I was a custom painter for 15 years, and a wrencher on anything mechanical since 12 yoa. looking forward to some long nights working on the bike and learning more on this build.B)

Welcome manipulator! Is that the new KZ as your avatar? If so, is it a ELR clone?...or perhaps a real ELR?

Even closer manipulator, Galesburg area(Knoxville actually).
Dated a girl in nursing school at a hospital in RI. Big difference between 4th St RI and 4th St Moline, as I recall. Spent a lot of weekends running up and down I74, but it was worth it.

Looking forward to checking out your pictures and build when you post them.

Good luck, and again welcome(to the wonderfull wacky world that is KZR)
