Hello from Chicago -

Howdy folks,

I've recently picked up a '77 KZ650 to race in AHRMA's middleweight superbike class.

Picked it up in South Bend In for $600. It's in decent shape but it's missing a side cover that I'll be looking to replace.

I've also picked up a basket case '85 GPz750 that I plan to swap over the forks, front brakes, and wheels. Also will probably swap in a KZ1000 swingarm.

I picked up a complete GS1100 swingarm but was informed by AHRMA that it wouldn't be legal for the class so that it'll be up for sale soon.

Any tips for getting the bike set up would be greatly appreciated!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my fist large street bike was a '82 GPz1100 and I also had a '85 GPz750.

The 750 was the first bike I ever took on a road course too.
