I just recently bought a kz1000 limited to get my hands dirty. Looking forward to meeting and discussing with fellow owner and riders.

Right on man.

Do yourself the biggest favor in the world, and purchase a good service manual first! It will save you mega headaches, save your bike, and save you $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...

Good luck.

Thats true I'm not such a Newbie, but The Kaw is going to be more of a teardown than the Honda. I miss my Honda already. It was a CB1100F supersport. On the Kaw I was told is a 900cc block with 1000 head. I guess the block spunn a bearing and they switched out the block. Well the bike runs and smokes a bit so I'm gonna refresh the head by honeing and install a new set of piston rings.
