new to group I own a 1983 kz550 ltd,great bikeonly 19000 miles.A mechanic freind of mine said he put 90-ooo miles on one

Howdy. I've never ridden one but the 550 would be a neato model to own - light weight 4-cyl w 6-speed transmission. neato.
How long have you had it?

Just in case... the owner's manual & a Kawasaki factory manual are handy to have, and there are good diagrams w lots of info at Kawasaki.com.
