Hello from Martha's Vineyaed
21 Apr 2006 18:26
Hello KZ Riders,
Been lurking for a few weeks and now that my 81 KZ 1000 CSR has been delivered, I thought I’d join and say hello. The bike is in good shape, with mostly cosmetic, carb and brake issues to address. A healthy dose of Techron carb cleaner seams to have cleared up the carb issue and a tear down / through cleaning of all three calipers seams to have gotten the brakes in good order. Man, bleeding those dual front discs is a pain to bleed though. Picture is from a trip to Maine 20 years ago!

Hello John
Is the merry-go-round still there?
I remember going for brass ring and free ride back in lete 50's early 60's. Grandfather had a place on the island.
Let's see some photos. The xs650 too. Helping a friend fix a stuck valve in his later this AM.

I just got back from the Boston area. I love the back roads in the New England states. Watch out for moose! Roy

KevZ, NONB, Duck, and roy-b-boy-b,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Here is the picture that I forgot to attach last night. I’ll post more pictures on the photo section. Unfortunately, the only pictures I have of the KZ are the before kind and it just looks so much better now, I can bear to post those pictures.
Yes, Duck, the Flying Horses Carousel is still working and my two children enjoy going for the brass ring as well.
Ride safe.

We've got more than that in N.E. now peach. Wolfencopter is in NH, several in Mass, Milkman up in Maine, and a few from the 'puckies" way up in VT...
When it gets closer to June, maybe we could kick around a trip to the Laconia Freak Show?
Jv, what do you pay to get a bike across on the ferry? I am considering a trip to the old family place on Cape Cod (Harwichport), never ridden on the Islands, is it worth it? Oh, yeah, and Welcome!
