New guy from Baltimore
28 Nov 2010 12:17 - 28 Nov 2010 13:01
Hello!
I just picked up a 1980 KZ440 from a guy on Craigslist. Free to a good home! I'm so psyched. It doesn't run, but I'm hoping to have it in working order within the next couple months.
I'm sure I'll be asking a million questions once I start tearing it down.
Aubrey

If not already in progress, might want to consider some preliminary checks and tests before starting tear down.
Would help identify problem areas to more closely inspect during tear down.
Hopefully, motor isn't frozen.

Thanks guys! I just ordered the service manual from Amazon. Once that comes in I will definitely jump in with both feel. I will have to look into motorcycle mechanics around here to see about having it checked over.
