Hello from Dickinson Texas. I just got me a 1980 ltd 1000 that has been in a barn for 25 years for 100 bucks. Its in pretty rough shape but all there. I'll be chewing on this for a while. I ride a 07 Nomad but in the 80's I had a 76 Z1 900 but it died a terrible death.I'll post some pics when I get my card reader working.

A friend slid into a curb and cracked the casing. He put a new (used) motor on it but it wasnt never the same. I wish I had some pics of it but back then when your in your 20's pics dont come to mind.

I'm sure I'll be picking yalls brain frome time to time (yalls thats a Texas thing) :) This isnt my first rodeo I pulled a 750 midnight maxim back from the grave last year and sold it. I didnt make any money but it was fun to tinker with it
