New Z owner from Oz. was created by Steiny
G'day all.

Steiny from Australia here to say hi.
I've just taken possession of my second Z.
The first being a z400 which was moved on years ago, the newbie being a 1980 z750e.

I got it for a few hundred bucks, everything works, it's been painted black and has a fairly ratty look to it, which I like.B)

I've got the carbs off at the moment, scratching my head trying to find out how the hell I can fix/replace the two torn slide diaphragm's. But I'll ask the questions in the appropriate threads later.

I'll try and throw up a few pics for ya also.

Cheers.
Damian.

Contact a member of this site (otakar) as he had a batch of diaphragms fabricated and has the best price I am aware of for new diaphragms.

Here's a link to an old thread on diaphragm replacement/repair. kzrider.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&...w&catid=38&id=368142
I bet there's lots more info on here. These guys know everything. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those guys and for some reason when I tested that link it didn't take me where it was supposed to. I'm sure someones got something better than this for ya though.
