Hello from Winter Haven Fl 1980 B4 LTD

In 1980 I bought a kz1000 B4 new and my brother wrecked it in 81 with only 1400 miles. Well 30 years later and many toys in between I bought another 80 B4. The same brother that wrecked the first one DROPPED the one I just bought while taking it off the trailer!! He was picking it up for me in Ohio and I was going to have it shipped to me in Florida. I now need a new tank.

Brothers...what can you do. I mulched mine into the garden. Welcome to KZR...and if you are looking for a NOS tank you are pretty much SOL. A picture might help you acquire the correct tank as there were several variants in 1980.

I been away from biking for along time,,,just learned that there were diff tanks offered. When I figure out how to post a pic I'll do it.
Not looking for NOS just a decent replacement.

If it's a blue one and you can't find a tank. I can hook you up with a guy that's got a paint code that's dam close. I think a graphics kit as well for much less than they go for usually.

Perhaps it's time to hold an intervention for your brother. Do you think the problem is with liquor or weed?

Neither just an unfortunate accident.

I called him yesterday to talk, I know he's sick about what happened. I said don't worry,I'll get it fixed.
There's along story behind why I didn't go to Ohio and get it myself but, thanks to one of my OTHER brothers being an A$$hole I didn't go, I blamed it on my OTHER brother!!
