A how-do-you-do from Ft Myers, Florida!

Hi! My name is John, I just bought an '82 550 ltd for a hundred bucks. The previous owner, my co-workers brother, was moving to Chili in a hurry, so it was priced to sell! I know nothing about bikes, but am willing to learn! I love tinkering and spending money, so I figured it was a worthy investment. It took me an embaressingly long time to tighten up my drive chain, just to give you an idea of my mechanical apptitude. The bike was sitting for four months before i got a hold of it. I changed the oil, replaced the battery with a trickle charged new one, tightened the drive chain, and it starts and runs reasonably well. Well, that's all, just thought I'd poke my head in and say hi before something falls off and I fill your forums up with ignorant (but appropriatly placed to be sure) questions! Thanks for having me aboard!

Hey where ya at in Ft. Myers? I lived just off McGregor just north of colonial for like 10 years and was the Sales and service manager at west coast kawasaki. Moving back in like 30 days. We should go riding.
