I am new to the site and a new owner of a really nice 82 KZ750 LTD. The only problem is i am over 6 ft tall and the stock two tier seat just doesnt work. where can i fine a solo seat or a flat seat that will work on this model?

Just have the old seat recovered and have them add some foam. That's what I did, I'm 6'5".

The closest standard model to yours is the 80-82 KZ750E Standard-4. I don't really know, but the seat might bolt-on to your bike. However, it's not really flat like some of the ironing board seats - the passenger section is slightly elevated.

As mentioned, you'd probably have better luck having your seat redone. SargentCycle in Florida does good work, although no one has mentioned using them for quite a while. www.sargentcycle.com The CB750 case study is informative.

Have you had a chance to get the seat done?
Pics would be cool.
