Hi, just joined the forum, old Kawasaki guy here for the first 2 decades of riding, the last 2 on HD's, should be picking up a 78 Z1000 middle of this week, hasn't been ridden in quite a few years (10+). Always had a soft spot for the big air cooled Z bikes, looking forward to getting it roadworthy.

Still have a Harley, but had several Kawasaki's when I first started riding,71 HI, 72 H2, 75 Z1, 76KZ. 80 ZIR, 84 Ninja 900 (put 33CR's on it what a difference) 87 1000 Ninja and most recently ZX14 for 1 season and sold it, no good coming out of that lol.
Will post pics by weeks end.
