Newly registered KZ650 owner

Hi everybody. Name's John and I'm from So. Illinois. I've got a 77 KZ650 B1 that I'm attempting to work on (with some help, of course). I'm going to be bugging you all with questions since this is my first bike and I'm just starting to learn about it. Thanks and cheers!

Here's a picture of it a couple months ago. It's got primer on it now waiting for new paint. I know it's not the most important thing, but a guy I know wanted to paint it so I let him.
