my first KZ was created by blipco
Hello all, I just now joined the group. I am the happy owner of a new to me 2002 KZ1000P police bike. Replaced the original OEM rubber today. (9 year old tires with 11,000 miles on them). Hope someday to take this bike cross country. Will look forward to any input the membership has about my new ride. Thanks to all.

new tires rock...i was of a different opinion about replacing tires that may have life left in em,but through reading here on KZR i learned i was wrong...just about the best improvment to start with makes a giant difference and i preach knowing and checking tire pressure a lot...do you run em full p.s.i or do you have a setting you like now???....got any bike pics???...cop bikes have soooooo many parts used on e-bay that you will probaly be able to keep it going forever...it has a great motr too...

Welcome. This is a great group - if you need specific KZ1000P advice the yahoo kz1000p group is a good place to go. Hope you enjoy your cop bike as much as I have mine.
