good evening everybody. My name is Mike and I recently purchased a 1982 KZ1100a. I love this bike already and its only been 3 days. It came with a complete Vetter package which I removed because I prefer the sportier look. the bike is in great condition with 20,000miles on the odo.

Im out in Franklin Square NY and would like to meet some fellow kawasaki riders nearby as Im fairly new to the bike scene. I will have to get some pictures up.

Don't toss any of those Vetter parts, especially if they're color-matched.

there was a blue kz1100 at the local corner store growing up....we'd go and just stand there looking at ...i was just getting into kz900's and everything about the KZ1100 looked big and brute force..i still like em and would love to have one with the vetter package... my eye ought for em...they do pop up once in while in really good shape.....cool bike...

was sitting talking to an old norton guy at the motogp...we ended up talking about vetter fairings which were made in our home town,turns out he has lived his whole life in the town i grew up in(san luis obispo Ca.)and vetter had a fairing co. there in the late 70's...when who walks into the bleachers and sits 50 ft away ,but Mr Vetter himself...


do not lose thos fairings or store them carelessly...they get dinged up and cracked off the bike pretty easy....

Sorry for the lack of pictures or update. AS you can see. its been slighty modded, nothing crazy. Just 2.5 rise handle bars. Mac 4-1 Exhaust. I lowered the bike an inch and shaved the seat to really hold my self in. The stock seat was comfortable but didnt support me like I wanted.
these pics still have the Air shocks. but Ive since put on Black on Black Progressive for the drop.

I have the airshocks and the Vetter kit for sale if anybody is interested
