Howdy from Utah
06 Jul 2010 22:02
I am a native western Pennsylvanian transplanted to Utah in 1988, from Philly, by a work transfer. I started motorcycle riding in the early 70's. Purchased a new 1978 KZ1000 LTD in the burbs of Philly and still have it. At the time I thought it was the purdiest bike available and had to have it though I did try to talk myself out of it because of the cost, over $4000. Big money in 1978! I had been cross country twice on it from Philly to the western U.S. and it proved to be very reliable and a comfortable ride. It is now in pieces in my garage. Got the modify fever! My new steed is a 2001 ZX9R and I love it. The 9R has a more relaxed riding position than it's other sportbike competition so I can ride longer distances without going to the chiropractor! I'm going to try to post some pictures with this if I can figure it out. I would like to know how to insert a permanent image next to my name when I make posts? Looking forward to picking your collective brains on my LTD project and putting in my 2 cents worth when it's appropriate!
