Hello

Just saying hi. I've been rooting around here for a couple of months now. I recently bought a 79 kz650 b3. I've got it running after sitting for 5 or so years. When I got it it had a Vetter Fairing and sissy bar/luggage rack which I have removed. Hopefully parts will come in this week so I can give it a good sprucing up this weekend.

I'm putting on an original headlight with drag bars, and modifying the king and queen seat to something closer to the original shape. I've also got an accelerator pump rebuild kit coming, which I'm hoping will solve an existing hanging idle issue... Carbs were very varnished and the diaphrams in the accelerator pump were very dry and cracked.
Performance mods will eventually be electronic ignition and 4/1 exhaust, but that won't be until this winter... if K-State doesn't take all my money that is lol! I appreciate any and all input! I will start a proper build thread tomorrow with some before pictures, progress pictures will have to wait until the weekend, that's the only time it get to see her.
