hi i had to go and buy a new ignition switch due to the fact that while i was at the laconia bike week celebrations ....on the ride home i hit a huge pothole which caused my keys in the ignition to jump out and i didnt realize this till i was well out of the area it happened in ...long story short i had to use a screwdriver to get the bike started when i shut it off for gas ...any info on somewhere to get schematics for the igniton so i can put it in this week ...i had a site that showed all the schematics but forgot how to get there :S thanks for any help

OK, so... what bike?!?

kawasaki.com has parts diagrams.

electrical schematics can be found here in the filebase for most models.

I just replaced mine with a Z1 ignition switch on my KZ900...

NOTE: This will be a 6 conductor plug end but as in my 900 wiring (4 conductor plug) it inserts into the 6 pin connector... Continuity test, rotated switch, paired conductors check continuity... All good...

As you stated, plug and go.... ;)

Just in case you need...
