New 1981 Kawasaki KZ550 LTD Owner

I am usually on the kawasakimotorcycle/forum website but was told to come over here being that i have a kz bike. Bike is a 1981 550, doesnt start but most likely needs new oil, gas, and a carb cleaning and im betting it will. I have no motorcycle experience but my shop manual will guide me to being a god of the kz's. Heres my bike and the problems i soon face lol
