Scott from VA. 31. Married w/ 2 daughters 4 and 5.

Just bought the wife a 1978 kz400 B1. I've been riding it some until she get's ready to hit it and I get my bike back on the road. Her first bike. I have a 78 Yamaha xs650 chop that's in progress. As soon as I sell my 57 VW Beetle, I'll start the lengthy process of finding the right 73-74 z1 900 for me.

Her kz400

My xs650 (in 2008, it's getting redone a little for this season, then total rebuild next winter)

Welcome Scott, nice first bike for the wife, and I really like your chop... not much left to do to it though? It's too bad your getting rid of the Classic "Bug", but you'll have fun Modding the KZ 900, when you find one!

I actually gave that tank, seat, and headlight to my buddy Jon, frame cracked on me, had it repaired by another friend "Blue Beard Mike" (yamaha blue), and now on top of replacing the parts I donated to Jon's build, I also have to replace the clutch and rebuild the carbs. Needless to say I'm going to be a busy man this summer.
