newbie in Indy

Just purchased a 1982 kz1000 ltd. been going thru her to make sure she is ready for this season. anyone know where I might be able to find a sissy bar for the back of her? would like to have one for long trips to strap a backpack to.
Thanks for any ideas guys.

1982 kz1000 ltd 4 into 1 vance and hines with baffle and pod filters. stock engine that was rebuilt but don't know at how many miles

Welcome David...few places carry new aftermarket items for these older motorcycles...and as trivial as it sounds, all things eventually appear on eBay.

Yeah I haven't had any luck with either avenue. I will keep my eyes open though.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThis one's pretty horrible! :laugh: But may not fit LTD grab bar.

try AmericanClassix.com they have alot of stuff for the old kaws if not let me know i have some people that deal in old kaws and parts. and i live in indiana and so do they.

Try cycle-recycle, right there in Indy. I believe pt. 2 is mostly used stuff for all bikes but don't hold me to that. Been a while since I've been there.

welcome..... its bout time someone else from Indiana shows up.:woohoo: I also live in Indiana,near E'ville. I think steel is from around that area also. Copperkaw,where you from? If you dont mind me asking?

1980 kz1000g 1105 34mm Mikuni flat slides Kerker exhaust custom paint stock ignition(Dyna 2000 soon) Accel coils and wires stock cams w/ heavy springs for more rpm. My 2nd 1000.
