Welcome.
Your 650 looks to be in great shape.
Changing it to suit your taste is what owning a bike is all about.
My '78 has seen changes almost every year. Their never finished.
I just bought an '82 CSR I'm picking up today.
Not as nice as yours.
I've got ideas going through my mind from a Cafe racer to bobber style.
We'll see where she ends up in the distant future. lol

rstnick: Yea cars or bikes projects are never done, but she doesnt know that haha. I am a firm believer that if a project has a "direstion" but no definate plan, it always turns out better, there is just more heart soul and creativity behind the final project. Either way I'm shure your 82 will end up to be one sweet machine after seeing your 78
