Why the Mark II motor? The 75 z1 motor ran really good when it ran last. I found both bikes in Carmi,Ill. sitting under a guys carport he sold both bikes to me for $500. He said the 75 motor had bigger cams,it also has 30 something smooth bore carbs. I only know that from a guy who offered to buy the bike just for the carbs. Offered $500. As you can tell I dont know alot, but really want to learn. Will the 75 motor bolt on the 80 frame. really is the best bike of the 3.

You guys are bringing back memories. Graduated from SIU-C in 1979 and lived in a trailer just north of 13 right by Crab Orchard Lake. Haven't been back there in dang over 30 years now, but still remember riding my Z1B (with a bud who had a KZ65) in that area and what fun it was!
