Hello all, My name is Matt and I have owned my 74 z1900 for about 11 years and am currently building it for the second time. I am SO happy to have found this site and like minded folks that share my passion for the old Kaw's!!!

welcome mat...nice yr z1....post some pics when you get time....you can also update your "signiture" in your profile( look at the bottom of my reply for an example)...to include make ,model and location ...helps others when you start posting to know a bit about your bike......i lived in raliegh for a while and was really impressed with N.C.....very ,very pretty girls as well...welcome aboard...craig

Greetings from the Great White North. One of my favourite guitar players in the world, Warren Haynes ( Allman Brothers Band & Govt.Mule)is from Asheville NC.and it's on my bucket list of places to visit before the end of days.Maybe do the Winter Jam thing Warren does every December...

Indeed...I am a Warren fan as well, and have been lucky enough to not only go to most of the Christmas Jams, but have been able to meet the man himself.

not sure yet, once i re-gather the parts, i will put a plan together. I have a new set of pipes, new mikuni's, a 1015 kit, and still deciding on the rest.

Here is my bike about 4 years ago the day before I completely dismantled it. I will be bringing all of the pieces to my shop next week and will be documenting the fresh build. Wish me luck!!!
