As promised here are some pictures of the Dirty Bastard. My plan is to go the cafe racer route. This is my first attempt at rewiring a motorcycle. Right now the ignition key, kill swith and starter button work. Those are the only things wired at the moment. For some reason the pictures don't want to work so there are links.

I got her started up today! Fuel line leaks a bit, but it starts on the first kick and runs on half choke. Now I have to figure out how to fix this half choke problem.

The carbs probably need a thorough cleaning. Have they been cleaned? Usually when they sit trash gets in them and they run like crap

Yeah I took them apart and all the gaskets were good and I cleaned and cleared all of the jets as best I could. They were pretty clean, but still had a little gunk in the jets. All the main jets were 102.5 in all fours.

Do you have access to compressed air? A few cans of carb cleaner and some compressed air should clean all the passages that you can not see. All gunk and junk must be removed or it will run like shit. Is it sleeting your way this morning?

I used compressed air and carb cleaner to clear all the passageways when I went through them. I just looked outside and I don't see an sleet.

You said you have a little gunk on the jets. Would that be your pilot jets? If so that might be a problem with the idle. What part of Central Florida are you in?

Yeah there was a little gunk, but I cleaned it all up with carb cleaner and a couple bursts of compressed air. I'm in Spring Hill in Pasco county.
