An Old New member!!

Hey Gang! I've been a sometime visitor for awhile now and thought I'd better join up!

My KZ has shown up in a couple of posts (thanks Rob and Steve! :laugh: ) but I'll share one of my favorite pics of it.





I've owned it since it was new in '77! It's been a love affair that really began when I first saw a pic of a Z1 "back in the day"!

The modifications have been many over the years, the most recent the ZX10R front end, wheels, brakes, etc. It's all Kawi and custom pieces! No Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, etc! :woohoo:

Nothin' against those brands, I just decided to keep this one in the Family!

Like some "others" around these parts, I'm into Triples too! I've got a H2 Project on the go and a bunch of other triple bits and pieces that might end up turning into "something" some day!

I love your bike, and I must ask one question. Where did your headlight come from, and do you like it? OK sorry, I guess that's two questions.

Where did your headlight come from, and do you like it?

I can tell you from riding with Drew (Drooz) that you don't want him behind you or you'll get blinded by the lights.

We started out something like this a couple of years ago:






A few new clothes and it was starting to take shape:





It spent a winter looking like this:





Finally, we got it ready for the road! Whoo hoo!! A dream come true!

The headlights are projector beams! Really bright! Aren't they Rob?? :laugh:








The gauges are from Motogadget in Germany.





The swingarm is from JMC in England. Nice unit!!
