Depending on your needs the wires on the safety circuits can be connected together to eliminate the starter lockout.

The kick stand and clutch lockouts on mine are both "bridged".

I just use a spade make connector jumper and placed at both locations to keep the starter circuit "active".

Good luck. Your lucky the older KZ line drawings are in color. The new ZR book is all black and white with jacket abbreviations on the connector ends...Trace and retrace to make sure your still not looking at it cross eyed.

From what I've found is the 82 KZ750R1 was pretty much the blueprint for the 91-94 Zephyrs. Many parts cross to the other. Including the harness if your willing to make some modifications.

As soon as the cold breaks im jumpen that clutch . I think my uncle took the plug that was in it out wile i was removing the sprokit cover . But thats just a theroy .

Cleaned up the threads should have it now the base and pet can thread. next jumper wire muhahahaha !!! hope it starts that would rock!

got the tank tabs welded on today !

Thanks for the advice thats what was up the clutch sensor was gone some one had bridged it thats what my wonderfull uncle helped me with, he took the jumper when I took my bike but soddered it together and heat shrinked it .

it turns over great now to rebuild front calipers and blead them And figuer out the clutch thing !

Be confident and fire that thing up. Get some video of the first breath for all to see and hear. All the hard work is about to pay off.

Hell, I had turned mine over by hand (17mm nut) so many times before actually firing her up I had Plum & Larry C yelling at me "for Christ sakes, you've already broken in the pistons/rings turning her over by hand... Fire the damn thing up and go ride already".... :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Havent been on in a while ! Got a question my bike went to the shop for a jet kit 1 week and 3 days laiter I was tired of waiting so i called the shop and they hadnt tuched it ! I took it home but it still aint right . Pops at all rpm and has no top it wont run over 60 the shop ses this jetting thing is guess work ? Im tired of people who dont know what they are doin messin with my bike ! if any one can help? i ride an 84 kz 700 with pods and a 4 into one that comes up the left .
