So close but so far !! Any thoughts i want to have the seat shaped . dont know where to have it done? thinkin hammered black and a ton of clear? Prob be takin it to the shop to be tuned next week . Hope that dont break me!!!!

silnoid off 1000 switched conections since they were backwards
lots of new hardwhere
carb rebuild floats set
new turn signals
new head light



Next step is to the shop for carb synq and valve check

Hey R2R 1985, have you thought of tuning it yourself?

Not that hard if you have a Service Manual for your model.

Also, lot's of fun and save tones of $. Members here can help with almost anything you need to know. What do you think?

Im not realy that gung hoe about the tuning . I dont know much about bikes but would love to get it running. My hope is that the shop Knows what it is doing . and is willing to share the info ! I keep messing things up so I hope taking it to a shop will get me lined out. I havent fixed the start button cant figuer out whats wrong with it and the clutch actuator is not right. Take your time and chase the safety switches down.

Has this bike got a kick stand safety switch? Roy

I think thats what the two wires are down under the sprokit cover they are tied together down to check the clutch lever switch mabe jump it?

If there were a safety switch on the kick stand there will be a mount somewhere in that area.

All those safety switches are wired in together and we need to find out what has been done to the bike and how to go about fixing it.

I'll check the previous posts and see if i can bring a wiring diagram up and tell you which wires to trace down.

I know there is some nmembers here with a sinilar bike that needs to help out here.Roy
