G'day

Hi Guys,

I've just signed up and thought I'd say hello before I post anywhere else.

I'm Invicta aka Steve Robinson. I'm an ex pat Brit living in the bikers paradise of Sunny South Africa (next to the Kruger National Park) and I earn my pennies by working in the safari industry and I also run a semi hobby site for classic vehicles and related items. I won't mention the address as I haven't had time to find out what I can and can't do here..... I don't believe in using forums to make sales though! :)

My current rides are a 1980 Jeep Wagoneer, a 1982 Honda CB900F and a Royal Enfield Constellation that's currently in bits for restoration.

Sooooo G'day!

Most of SA has good roads and once out of the big towns, low traffic volume and my area is especially popular with bikers due to lots of mountains and bendy roads etc...... and of course, the weather is great for biking!

Oh yes, and none of the speed cameras have worked for the last 5 years!

Nice pics. Does South Africa drive on the wrong side of the road too?

A KZ safari bike with mud tires would be a nice project.

Hey, we don't drive on the wrong side of the road..... we drive on the correct side, but not the right side!

I've been itching for a Z900 for a while but don't have the space for one....... That said, I'm being tempted by this one right now!

Problem is, the Mrs will kill me if I buy it for myself! :S

Welcome to KZR Steve,

Right side/ Correct side! All I know is that I'd likely die trying to adjust to the Left side.

The Z900s came with the dual front disks, didn't they? I had to add mine.

Glad to have you aboard.

The twin disks are an upgrade from the later model to match the 1000cc Moriwaki conversion. :)

I tried suggesting my buying it for her birthday present but she wasn't too excited about the idea.

I might just have to build a larger garage to accommodate it!
