I have an opportunity to obtain a 1978 (I think) KZ650 for FREE. Has been sitting outside with the carbs off for a number of years. Side covers and center stand are missing. 4 into 1. Grab rail replaced with back rest/luggage rack. The price is right. Attached is a photo I took early August in the Washington Cascade mountains.

So what are you waiting for? A free 78 KZ650 is a no brainer...in a couple of words...GET IT. That is a nice pic of a 76 KZ900 with what looks to be LTD exhausts on it. Do you still own it?

I second all others! Don't worry about the carbs being off...you might get lucky...if not, no loss to you.

Gringo,

Yes I still own it and will for some time. Yes those are Ltd pipes. Have just recently replaced them with MACs. Much quieter and best of all no rust damage. See photo in "Midlife Crisis".

Hope to pick up the 650 by Saturday.

Ross

I just got the 650 home. Needs much work. Title may be difficult. It has been thru a couple of owners without being registered. I don't know how the process to rectify this works here in BC. Any way it's a kz650c. Mfd 12/76. Frame #kz650c 000676. Would be a sweet little machine if restored or (gasp!!) hot rodded. Will post pics soon.
