Hello, my name is Dave and I'm a recovering cage driver.

Registered to take advantage of the knowledge as I start the minor process of restoring my 1980 KZ550. New sprockets, chain, battery, tires and repairing the rear tail light is all it needs. It's been a sad sack sitting in the garage since 1995. The poor thing only has 11K miles on it.

It needed restoring but now that I'm dating again after 12 years I have a good reason to finally get around to it. The smoking hot single moms I've been dating would look even better in leather anyway.

14 years is too long for a basket case.

Welcome to the site. Looks like you have a good starting point for a nice ride. I used to live in Nampa about 41/2 years ago. There was another member on here fro Nampa but I'm thinking something might have happened to him that caused him to stop riding. Anyway, your in the right place for help with fixing up the bike.
