Hey. I'm new here as well and also have a '78 KZ650SR. Had it repainted this summer. Needs some front end work. Will hopefully get done this winter.

Thanks. The low end is not too bad. Not really torquey but it'll get up and go. Especially when you have everything synced just right. It's kinda nice, cause it keeps things from getting too jerky in stop and go traffic, which I hate to ride in, but what ya gonna do?

When you try and post pictures does the computer tell you the file is too big?

Open your pictures and pick the one you want to post, right click and choose,"open with" Click on paint, Click on Image in the top left of the screen, Click on resize/skew, In the two boxes put in 50% and see if that brings the pictures into the range for posting. You can check the size by clicking on image again and then click attributes. If the size is good "below 800" close out the window and when the window appears asking save or don't save click on save if the picture is the right size. Roy

The SRs are taking over Kansas! Maybe we ought to have an SR rally right here in the Sunflower State. Welcome aboard, guys. :)

Kansas might be a bit far for Gringo and me! Glad to see more SR's I bought mine in 1994. It was my Dad's and I rode the tank as a kid. Now my kids ride on it with me. They are cool bikes.
