New to KZ
12 Aug 2009 21:00
Hey guys, I just picked up a 81 KZ1000 LTD and decided to join the group. Can anyone recommend a good technical shop manual? I'm going to need some help with it as it has a few problems. I'll be posting it in the tech section.
I'm glad you guys are here. Thanks, Mike

Welcome Mike (very odd name, BTW). Accept no substitutes...buy only the genuine Kawasaki shop manual (skip the Clymers and Haynes). The manual you need regularly and inexpensively shows up on eBay (Kawasaki part number 99924-1026-XX [the last two digits are the edition number]) and I suspect the manual is a free download (very large file) on www.wgcarbs.com :)

And a good relationship with George Lesho (Wired George), the site owner, is a good thing as he is a wealth of info on carbs, amongst other motorcycle related things.
