Hello!!!!!!!

Hello, my name is Terry and I am a new member. I just wanted to say hello and ask for some ideas. lol!
This is my first bike and it is a fixer upper. It's a 1980, some people say kz750 but the side covers said 750 ltd. I dont know the difference. Can someone tell me? thanks!

Also, I can't figure out how to upload a photo. The script keeps telling me that i exceded the pixel limit. Any advice?

Hey welcome to the group Terry! Always glad to have another 750 around. The Ltd (Limited) model has a stepped seat (actually, I think the 1980 model has a two piece seat) and what I'd call "mini-ape" handlebars. If that doesn't help, give us your frame serial number and we can figure it out.

I've always had a problem with uploading pictures to the site until I opened a free photobucket.com account. They actually give you the link to paste right in....pretty easy.
Gotta get those pics up though or the sharks will start circling....

If you add your signature block with your type of bike (once you figure it out) and where you live, that helps people to help you. Also, if you don't have a manual, get one. I'm pretty sure I've got a link to an online manual, but it's at work so let us know if you need it.

It's obviously your bike, but I hope you try and keep it stock, the number of Ltd's on the road shrinks every year.

Thank You for the courtesy and the welcome you sent. It feels good to not be on another site just for cussing each other out! lol Probably gonna disappoint you but the 750 ain't exactly original. When I got it the tail had been cut, the suspension taken off the back and I just made it a hard tail. It looks alot like an old school rat bike. Drag bars..etc. I have a photobucket account so i'll try to get some pics up VERY soon. Again, Thank You!
