Howdy from Weatherford Texas! My name is Danny Miller and though I'm new to this forum, I'm not new to classic bike restoration and ownership. I'm an aeronautical engineer who has been riding off and on for since I was 8. I've just purchased a '76 KZ900 project bike and hope to get some advice and directions from the experts here. :)

My last restoration was a 100 point effort on a '75 Honda CB550 K1. I hope to restore my KZ900 to approximately the same condition. I'm 56 and have been a Honda man until a couple of years ago. I ride a triked '08 Suzuki Burgman 650 maxi-scooter now due to an existing medical condition from a motorcycle accident in the late '60s that severely damaged my left leg. The scooter is necessary due to the step-through design and desire to keep riding no matter what. Though I can't ride a traditional motorcycle, I do love to restore them and I've always had a week spot for Kawasaki bikes. So, here I am with my '76 KZ900... and I'm very glad to be here!

yeah yeah..welcome...some times folks take a funny veiw of the three wheel design as being strayed from a true bike...but once i got to thinking about how some folks can keep riding even when they have a special circumstance...then it makes pefect sense for folks to really design good three wheel rides.....pics would be great...i got a 76 900 too and i dig it...welcome...see not guys from texas are wacky...

Wow! Thanks folks for the warm welcome! Glad to see some of my Tejas neighbors here. I do plan on posting pictures as soon as there's something to see.

I would like to clarify that my Suzuki trike is the "training wheels" variety and not the usual three wheel variety. But hey, I'm back to riding and for a man who is mobility impaired, it's a godsend regardless of how many wheels it has. Otherwise, I'd still be watching you fine folks have all the fun while I sat on the curb wishing I could join in.

Anyway, I'm glad to now be a part of this forum!
